DANGER AHEAD?

This author's discussion and analysis in this article about "fair market" value for stocks and related trends (rapidly increasing Federal debt, inflationary influences, timing, etc.) suggest the United States is heading for an internal conflict in which policy makers (current) and the general population (middle class) will have to sort out their various differences, perhaps in the end, using the "old-fashioned way".

Right now, we still settle political and economic differences peaceably, using the both the markets and the polls. However, the last comments in Tacitus's article suggest the future possibility of violent social and cultural conflict. Most assuredly (by implication), involving some form of group and/or individual violence (use of force) to settle long term personal grudges or differences.

How it plays out will in part depend of today's collective public policy, fiscal, and monetary policies. The danger of both financial and internal social collapse seem to be increasing. Accordingly, preserving our traditional way of life is going to be a bit of a challenge going forward.

It is interesting that you find fair value. My instinct is they are overvalued but agree it is best to use stats.
